Also known as 3PL Processes, these are specific to the many

management and direct-to-retailer EDI fulfillment to EDI shipping, packing, and

3PL requirements. Processes are customized for your particular needs.
There are many types of processes available. Below are a list of the standard
process
types and what they do:
 | Communication Processes :
These processes connect you to your VAN, your customer's VAN, or your
customer's direct FTP or AS2 connection. Any communication requirement you
have can be met with these. |
| Trading Partner Transaction Processes
: These are the processes that define the transactions coming in from
individual retailers or your customers. There are processes for purchase orders, invoices,
ship notices, ship advices and virtually every other EDI transaction you
need.
These processes are linkable. For example you can link a purchase order to
an invoice and ASN, which creates a turnaround. Some specially packaged processes come
with all transactions for a single retailer. |
