History Of DBM Consulting Services
DBM Consulting Services was formed by David B. Mueller in
January of 2004. Before founding his own company he began his career with computers
and software development in 1980 as an airman in the US Air Force.
After separating from the Air Force, he worked for several major defense contractors
in their engineering and quality assurance departments, testing the latest in digital RADAR and satellite
systems.
In 1993 he started working as the lead Customer Service Technician for
The EDI
Connection, one of the original EDI Service Bureaus. The Service Bureau was able to handle manufacturers, distributors, and
wholesalers needs, who were all
required to use EDI to trade with their retailers, and completely free
their minds to run their businesses. During the early days of EDI it was a very
effective solution.
In 1997 The EDI Connection was acquired by QRS Corporation™, who was
later acquired by Inovis™. For years the service bureau supported a system known as
WinShip™,
which was partly developed by him. WinShip™ was the first fully
automated EDI system that featured "autopacking" and created UCC-128 labels
integrated with the 856 Advanced Ship Notice.
In 2003 he left QRS Corporation™ and formed DBM Consulting Services, answering the
customers' demand for an affordable EDI/EC expert consultant. Since then he has developed many industry leading EDI software solutions across many industries.
In addition to developing his ECLightning line
of products for the retail and automotive industries, he developed EDI
software solutions for many customers in other industries. He developed EC
Lightning Electronic Medical Claims to integrate with popular medical billing
programs such as Lytec™ and Medisoft™; he created EC
Lightning 3PL for third party
logistics fulfillment (3PL) customers; he developed ECL Floor Ready for flooring retail customers;
he also developed a number of
companion products that work hand in hand with ECL to meet his customer's varied needs.
He is one
of the countrie's leading experts in the field of EDI and Electronic Commerce
solutions. His Pre-Paid Hourly Rate Packages are
revolutionary and allow him to perform all of his EDI consulting services at a
reasonable rate.
