ECL Processes

Also known as Lightning Processes, these are the brains of your ECL EMC application and define all of your individual requirements. They are what tell the application where to get the data from, how to process the data, and where to send it. Processes are customized for your particular needs.

There are many types of processes available. Below are a list of the standard process types and what they do:

bulletCommunication Processes : These processes connect you to your payer's mailbox and retrieve and deliver your documents for you. There are single or multiple mailbox processes available.
bulletHIPAA ANSI X12N Transaction Processes : These are the processes that define the transactions used with each payer. There are processes for electronic claims, payment advices, and virtually every ANSI X12N EDI transaction used by your payer. All are version 4010A1. Version 5010 coming soon.
bulletIntegration Processes : These are the processes that connect to your medical billing system's databases.
bulletReporting Processes : There are many custom reporting processes available. These are the processes that create the reports you need from ECL EMC.

All processes are customized to fit your individual needs. Please contact us for information about any custom functions you may need in your processes.
